Job/Internship Description

Overview

Desktop Engineering is responsible for maintaining all of the end user systems that our employees utilize to serve our members. We maintain approximately 40k endpoints across the globe utilizing Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, PowerShell, and other tools. Our small but mighty team ensures the stability, security, resiliency, and lifecycle of these devices and the software that runs on them.

This candidate will support administrative tasks and assist engineers with lower-level tasks in relation to enterprise-wide efforts including Co-Management with InTune, Windows 11, Microsoft 365, VDI expansion, vulnerability management, and Major Incident management.

Responsibilities

* Perform engineering tasks and assignment in support of peers, business requirements, and projects
* Perform engineering technology research, configuration, deployment, and/or troubleshooting of enterprise endpoints
* Assist team members with administrative tasks including ticket documentation, submission, end user communication, etc.
* Assist with day-to-day support activities including request management, incident management, and access management
* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Effective organizational, planning and time management skills
* Effective research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Effective usage and troubleshooting of Windows 10 and 11
* Willingness to be a self-starter and eagerness to learn new technologies
* Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint and Configuration Management environment is a plus
* Familiarity with PowerShell is a plus
