Summary:

Reporting to the VP Process & Technology, the ERP Production analyst is responsible for serving as point of contact and subject matter expert for the business teams. They will be responsible for configuring the environments (Dev, UAT and Gold) for the various Businesses throughout the entirety of the ERP implementation plan.

The individual will also be responsible for creating/maintaining SOPs and training users.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a point-of-contact and subject-matter-expert (SME) for the business teams.
  • Create current and future state process maps, following requirement analysis sessions with users
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day matters reported by the business and IT teams.
  • Test all new functionality and changes before handing them to the end user for acceptance testing.
  • Author test cases and test application changes and enhancements before passing them to the end user for additional testing.
  • Request additional information from users to provide a solution or escalate the request to a development resource for further assistance.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to systems or processes.
  • Provide user training as needed for new users, new functionality, or existing functionality that is not being utilized properly and provide process flow mapping.
  • Assist in the evaluation of new plug-ins and technologies to satisfy requirements.
  • Work closely with the project team on all projects and support requests.
  • Contribute to ensuring consistent and high standards of service delivery
  • Interact with members of cross-functional teams.
  • Enable Project Manager by determining direction, timelines, schedules, and activities for finance related areas of the project.
  • Provide regular internal reports on the status of projects
  • Lead information gathering and design process for BU implementations, including the development of functional business requirements and solution scope documents
  • Configure the environments - DEV/UAT and Gold
  • Develop and execute test plans and test software configurations
  • Provide training to end users including creation of SOPs
  • Participate in product functionality information sharing and training sessions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, information systems, accounting, engineering or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years of work experience in a consulting or professional services firm or 3+ years of private industry experience focused on ERP implementations
  • Hands on experience with at least one major ERP system and system implementation
  • Manufacturing and Distribution industry experience is a plus
  • Training, support or consulting advisory experience
  • Experience with compliance or professional standards associated with area of expertise.
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Willingness to continuously learn and stay up to date on Industry developments
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
