Overview

BigBear.ai is seeking a highly entrepreneurial Product Strategy Manager to drive the expansion of our rapidly growing commercial product portfolio into new target markets and geographies.

This is a multidimensional and highly strategic role that will be given the opportunity to drive a step-change in the growth trajectory of our commercial business. Reporting directly to the VP of Private Sector Strategy, you will work closely with senior leadership on the highest-priority growth opportunities across multiple product areas and target markets.

This position is fully remote.


What you will do

  • Analyze, select, and prioritize new market opportunities based on TAM, CAGR, competitive dynamics, commercial advantage, wedge opportunities, and strategic alignment.
  • Test expansion hypotheses through early Business Development efforts.
  • Quantify and communicate the business case for investment in selected markets to the executive leadership team and CEO.
  • Support the Business Development team with pricing, deal structuring, and ROI modeling across commercial portfolio to unlock scale.
  • Support Product Marketing with value proposition definition by quantifying our products' value to end customers.
  • Develop and execute data-drive pilot programs, and use the results to inform product and commercial decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage Bigbear.ai's broader set of technical capabilities to create new products and product lines.

What you need to have

  • 4+ years of experience in top-tier Strategy Consulting, a commercially-focused Product Management role, or a highly strategic Business Development function.
  • Bachelor's degree / MBA preferred
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, including experience with financial modeling, market mapping, competitive analysis, pricing strategy, and deal structuring.
  • Ability to approach challenges and opportunities from multiple perspectives, including commercial, financial, technical, and regulatory.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to distill complex ideas into compelling narratives that drive action at the executive level.
  • Experience working in / with technology companies that sell B2B software products, solutions, and services.
  • Deep understanding of GTM strategies, including direct and indirect sales motions.
  • Proven ability to operate autonomously through ambiguity.
  • Low ego and willingness to support other functions when needed.
  • A highly entrepreneurial mentality.


What we'd like you to have

  • Combination of experience in consulting, startups, and/or fast-growing corporate business units.
  • General understanding of Artificial Intelligence products and technologies.
  • Experience in the Supply Chain Management or Digital Identity space.
  • Proven ability to navigate through regulated markets, both domestic and international.
  • Experience standing up businesses internationally.
