Overview

HILGARTWILSON, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is seeking a CAD Technician to become a part of our growing company. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of plans by analyzing sketches, notes and other input material to determine the best approach for the completion of drawings.
  • Work from detailed sketches to produce computer-generated graphs, charts, overlays and isometric drawings including digital terrain models and surfaces.
  • Conform to the company's standard CAD procedures for layering, etc., and standard drawing procedures for sheet layout.
  • Work with numerous project teams to help in project completion.
  • Coordinates details and dimensions between drawing sheets.
  • Prepare project exhibits.
  • Address assignments of increased difficulty as proficiency is increased.
  • Prepare CAD files for authorized media release to external parties / agencies.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent; Associates Degree or a Certificate from a technical school, preferably in AutoCAD.
  • 1-2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other related software.
  • Demonstrate general computer skills, knowledge, and acumen (i.e., familiarity with Microsoft Office, etc.).
