N-able is searching for a talented, passionate, and analytical Senior Director of Events and Community. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for driving demand for B2B SaaS products.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving awareness, demand, and expansion for N-able's Industry-leading Remote Management, Data Protection, and Security solutions for IT service providers through events, online forums, and advocacy programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive strategic and tactical experience with both virtual and in-person events. In addition to your functional responsibilities, you will be an event marketing subject matter expert, with a strong point of view on what makes an event successful.


What You'll Do

  • Develop the strategy and framework to support global events that drive the overall go-to-market strategy and pipeline goals.
  • Work closely with executives, senior leaders, and stakeholders to define messaging, agenda, speakers, training, and pre/during/post event content marketing strategy.
  • Work with the Demand Generation, Creative, Partner Succes and Sales teams to create engaging and impactful experiences across all touchpoints from pre-event, event, and post-event moments.
  • Drive event communications, both internally and externally, alongside Demand Generation, Social and PR Teams.
  • Work with sales operations to measure sales pipeline and marketing-influenced opportunities for all events.
  • Manage the event budget and set success criteria, measure, and report out the impact of each major event on attendance, engagement, and opportunity pipeline to validate ROI.
  • Develop compelling event programming with the right mix of storytelling, customer experiences, and by featuring our own thought leaders and product experts to drive audience interest, attendance, engagement, and pipeline.
  • Manage community channel outreach through online forums and grow our advocacy program.
  • Develop scalable and repeatable processes that make event planning and promotion more efficient and effective.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the Events function based on data-backed insights, industry trends and qualitative feedback.

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years in event management, with 5+ years leading events teams
  • Experience carrying out hosted and 3rd party trade shows at all levels from tabletop to premium sponsorship levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead global event programs and drive business impact
  • Experience working in an integrated marketing/demand gen organization
  • Lead and influence with executives and cross-departmentally
  • Excellent budget management and project management skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual presentation skills
  • Data-driven mindset focused on setting and measuring KPIs and pipeline metrics
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and Cvent
