As a Credit Associate at United Rentals, you will maintain various processes for credit support including lien releases, new accounts, pre-lien notifications and administrative functions.

Additional responsibilities include the following:
Process new customer credit applications including but not limited to accessing credit agency data, collecting trade references, bank trades, to open new accounts
Upload completed applications to appropriate credit system
Process customer requests for lien releases (waivers) based on the time period and dollar amount, communicating directly with the submitter which may be either the customer and/or field operations when the waiver or release cannot be approved as submitted
Document lien release in appropriate credit system
Prepare preliminary notices (notice of intent) per applicable state laws and standard operating procedures
Prepare spreadsheets for pricing and field operations to ensure all appropriate customer connections are systematically connected via links and merges
Review customer certificate of insurance for rental protection plan and update systems as required
Assist in providing departmental administrative support and other duties as assigned
Other duties assigned as needed
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Strong work ethic and work well collaboratively within own group and cross functionally to achieve goals but also has strong independent capabilities
Detail oriented and work accurately and consistently with a sense of urgency with a customer-focused approach
