Description

Summary Statement: This administrative role encompasses various tasks crucial to the smooth operation of Military Markets, Textiles, Contract Cutting, Staplers, and related departments in the IFB Solutions Asheville, NC Facility. Responsibilities include order validation and entry, preparing shipping documentation, and resolving Over/Short/Damaged concerns in direct interface with customers. Strong customer service skills are crucial, and this role is vital in facilitating communication between sales/marketing, distributors, and supply chain, and providing resolution for order-related issues.

Essential Job Functions

  • Effectively and professionally collaborate with Military Markets Sales and Marketing Team, Asheville Facility operations and leadership, and Supply Chain to ensure Fill Rate of 98% for Military Markets orders.
  • Perform administrative receiving for Asheville Facility (Military Markets, Textiles, Contract Cutting, Staplers, etc.) within parameters set by department and/or facility manager.
  • Prepare packing slips, bar code sheets, pallet labels, and bills of lading for all Asheville Facility shipments as appropriate, as well as schedule trucks.
  • Validate and enter inbound orders for Asheville Facility product lines to ensure accurate pricing; perform necessary steps to resolve discrepancies (including communication with IFB accounting, IFB IT, customers, NIB, etc.).
  • Using professional communication, research and provide resolution for missing and erroneous orders, over/short/damaged goods, and any other issues to internal, NIB and customer teams.
  • Ensure paperwork for all orders is uploaded to D365; provide daily copies of Military Markets Direct Ship orders to NIB in addition to weekly aggregate report; field questions from NIB related to these shipments.

Marginal Job Functions

  • Support Item Master setup in D365 for new Military Markets items as needed
  • Participate in training and meetings as requested
  • Perform other duties as apparent or assigned

Education and Work Experience

  • A bachelor's or associate degree in business or related field is preferred
  • 3-5 years of customer services and administrative work in manufacturing, supply chain, or contract management
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Enterprise Management Programs (ERPs, i.e. Microsoft Dynamics), as well as Microsoft Word and Excel.
