*Temporary staff employees are ineligible to receive benefits (leave, health coverage, State service credit, etc.). They are, however, covered by Worker's Compensation provisions.

However, any non-permanent employee hired to work 30 or more hours per week for three months or more (cumulative of all positions, and not designated as variable hour worker), must be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, within 30 days of their eligibility. Any non-permanent employee hired to work less than 30 hours per week (cumulative of all positions, or designated as variable hour worker - i.e. student workers) are measured during designated measurement periods. If they average 30 or more hours per week over a designated measurement period, they will be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, and will be notified of instructions.

Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some weekend and evening work may be required.
Pay Rate $16.00/hour
Minimum Experience/Education
Graduation from a four-year college or university; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
The preferred candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, efficiency, the ability to work with little supervision. Preferred candidates will have prior admissions experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist the Campus Visit team with managing daily campus tours and other necessary duties.
  • Serve as a point of contact for prospective students and families while they visit the Gage Undergraduate Admissions Center.
  • Assist Undergraduate Admissions team members to successfully manage tour guest, phone call, and email volume.
  • Assist the Operations and Recruitment teams with daily operational tasks and projects that arise as needed.
Other Work/Responsibilities
May work on other admissions projects during periods of low volume.
