Overview

The North American Strategic Transformation team is seeking talented individuals for the role of Strategic Transformation Director. This position will play a crucial role in advancing, supporting, and elevating BY's position in process and solutions within the Transportation Management (TMS) and Warehouse Management (WMS) sectors. Opportunities are available in both the TMS and WMS spaces. The role aims to deliver unparalleled value to BY's clients by ensuring seamless alignment between customer processes, personnel, and BY's cutting-edge technology.

What you'll do:

  • Demonstrate expert knowledge in Transportation Management (TMS) and/or Warehouse Management (WMS). Guide clients in optimizing processes to enhance profitability, resource utilization, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Utilize strong facilitation skills to lead clients towards innovative solutions and opportunities in the realms of business processes, resource utilization, and BY technology.
  • Stay at the forefront of current best practices in the TMS/WMS industry and establish a position as a visionary thought leader in supply chain processes.
  • Play a pivotal role in driving significant sales of software and services by showcasing the value of proposed solutions and outlining strategic roadmaps for companies to achieve heightened success.
  • Collaborate with Principal and Senior Enterprise Architects on crafting Transformation 'Blueprints' tailored to specific industry verticals.
  • Cultivate close working relationships with sales, management, consulting, customer support, and product management teams to effectively present compelling proposal information to prospective and current clients.
  • Develop and deliver impactful presentations and publications for relevant industry conferences and forums.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor for intricate, top-tier Transportation and Warehouse Management transformation initiatives.
  • Champion a proactive, cross-functional culture within the BY Customer Success and Delivery organization.

What we are looking for:

  • Practical leadership experience within a leading Transportation and/or Warehouse Management organization.
  • Exceptional proficiency in facilitation techniques, including leading meetings, resolving conflicts, and brainstorming.
  • Highly desirable experience spanning multiple industry verticals.
  • Hands-on experience implementing Transportation and/or Warehouse Management solutions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of End-to-End Supply Chain within the Transportation and/or Warehouse Management domain.
  • Essential expertise in change management principles and practices.
  • Collaborative aptitude to work alongside enterprise solution architects, translating business strategies into operational processes and solution requirements using BY's transformation 'blueprint' framework.
  • In-depth understanding of industry verticals (e.g., Manufacturing, Retail, Grocery, Soft/Hard Lines, Energy & Convenience) in Transportation and/or Warehouse Management.
  • Familiarity with Omni Channel Planning & Operations and its impact on Transportation and Warehouse Management.
  • Clear comprehension of industry trends, products, and dynamics within Transportation and/or Warehouse Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex project environments seamlessly.
  • Proficiency in interfacing with C-Level Executives and a track record of being a 'trusted advisor'.
  • Capability to adeptly manage complex situations with minimal guidance, ensuring effective and efficient resolution.
  • Proven knack for identifying and cultivating new consulting opportunities, contributing to account expansion.
  • Previous experience in process or solution consulting, whether in a consulting/advisory firm, software vendor, or strategy function of a large corporation, is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, adept at presentations, and skilled in building lasting client relationships.
  • Proven ability to execute business process modeling and design.
  • Self-motivated, confident, self-reliant, and ready to contribute effectively from day one.
  • Strong organizational skills, consistently meeting client commitments and deadlines.

The salary range for this role is $167,000 - $190,000.

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
