YOUR DAY-DAY WILL INCLUDE:
Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in UKG Pro to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.
- Assists employees with Life Event changes within the UKG Pro system.
- Performs quality checks of benefits-related data.
- Distributes all benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility.
- Enroll employees with carriers and process life status changes.
- Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes, and other general inquiries.
- Processes and administers all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability, and FMLA.
- Effectively interprets FMLA and ADA implications relating to leaves of absence/disabilities.
- Collects the applicable benefit premiums from employees due to leave of absence.
- Responds to 401(k) inquiries from managers and employees regarding enrollments, plan changes, and contribution amounts. Manages the annual catch-up contribution enrollment.
- Assists with the open enrollment process.
- Provides necessary reports for allocation/billing charges.
- Processes and ensures accuracy of monthly benefit vendor invoices.
- Reconciles bi-weekly pre-check payroll register to benefit reports.
- Reviews, reconciles, and uploads bi-weekly Health Savings Account (HSA) & Flexible Spending Account (FSA) files to vendors.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and TEAMS.
- Associate's degree in HR or related field, but experience and other training/certification may be substituted for the education.
- 2-5 years' experience in HR and benefits administration.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field of study.
- SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP
- UKG Pro Core & Prime experience.
- Benefit certification CBP, CEBS
