Job Summary
The Plant Controller provides financial support to our Snyder's-Lance jumbo manufacturing facility in Charlotte, North Carolina to enhance profitability and protect all company assets through the enforcement of controls. This role would direct and manage all financial functions for the Bakery operations and applies generally accepted accounting principles to plant transactions to properly reflect the financial performance of a plant.
Essential Job Duties
Scope of Responsibility
Plans, directs, and controls the financial activities of a jumbo plant with 1000 employees. The Plant Controller reports to the Site Senior Manager, Finance with a dotted line relationship with the Plant Manager.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of 5 years of direct experience in the field required. CPG experience preferred. Manufacturing finance preferred.
Physical Demands
The employee must occasionally lift up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is quiet in the office areas but loud and hearing protection is required in the plant.

Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$85,900-$140,800Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
