Technology and Innovation (T&I) is looking for students to join us full-time over the summer months to engage across various projects across campus.

No technology experience is required! You may be a computer expert, or perhaps you only touch your computer for classwork and set it aside. Learning and growing are fundamental to the job here, no matter your experience.

We challenge students to think critically and learn outside their comfort zone. No matter what you study in the classroom, we believe your skills can be successfully applied here at T&I.

Examples Of Student Tech Summer Job Duties include:

• Understand and carry out the computer inventory processes, from initial delivery to end-of-life decommissioning.
• Image Mac and Windows computers; installing fresh operating systems and software.
• Deployment and updating of computer lab spaces across campus
• Communicate with faculty, staff, and students to understand technology questions and needs.
• Use and maintain documentation of both processes and applications used here at Davidson
• Assist in the upgrading and maintenance of Audio/Visual equipment in classrooms

Job Requirements:

Must have ambulatory skills such as the ability to stand, walk, bend, manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds, and be able to travel to various campus locations.

Must have good hand-eye coordination; arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp; and the visual acuity to use a keyboard, do network cabling, operate equipment, and read technical information.
