As a Marketing Specialist, your role will be to implement customer-focused marketing and demand generation campaigns for ABB Energy Industries division. This position is based in Houston, Texas. Collaborating with marketing and sales teams in the United States and Canada, you will develop marketing strategies connected with local customer needs and market opportunity and aligned with global strategies and messaging.

Your responsibilities

  • Execute marketing campaigns across all identified marketing tactics and tools; demand generation, email marketing, digital marketing and advertising, marketing automation, nurturing campaigns, social media, web content, landing pages.
  • Generate leads via advertising, sponsorship and other promotional activities.
  • Execute creative concepts in accordance with the corporate branding guidelines and business strategy.
  • Analyze and report campaign results to sales and other key stakeholders. Refine the marketing assets/plan, based on market response and customer feedback.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute events, webinars and exhibitions to increase awareness/drive demand for ABB solutions and to support business growth.
  • Support meetings and events at local customer experience center, working with sales team to improve and drive growth for the center
  • Collaborate with Energy Industries colleagues to organize employee engagement events
  • Support local sales team to localize global content to support sales activities (that is, customer presentations, social media content).
  • Work with sales and operations teams to identify and highlight case studies and technology applications in region, creating stories around these compelling projects
Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing and/or Communications and minimum 2 years experience in marketing or marketing communications in a B2B environment (prefer technical/ industrial environment)
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading capabilities are mandatory, results focused with strong analytical skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, track record for developing strategic marketing communications plans to achieve desired targets
  • Creative mindset and a drive to innovate. Self-starter and a strong networker with strategic thinking capabilities and hands on approach to translate plans to actions and monitor and report progress
  • Fluency in English language is mandatory
  • This position will be based in Houston, Texas
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
