Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Actively supervise, hire, train, schedule, coach and develop Quality Operations employees.
    • Supervise workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure high standards of quality and high technical integrity.
    • Responsible for real time decisions related to deviations occurring during production.
    • Oversee and ensure consistent Quality documentation, testing, reporting and other activities in compliance with company and cGMP standards.
    • Develop, maintain, and report Quality Metrics to the Quality Operations Manager.
    • Collaborate with Quality team and other interdepartmental teams to investigate deviations, customer complaints and audit findings.
    • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Innovation and other interdepartmental teams, as needed.
    • Maintain and update the Quality operations Work Instructions and Job Aids as needed.
    • Design, develop and implement quality operations training programs in partnership with management.
    • Support internal and external audits as directed.
    • Create sampling and inspection protocols when required.

    People Leader Responsibilities

    The Quality Operations Supervisor will carry out People Leader Responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Supervision of Quality technicians/Associates.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a scientific field with 2+ years of experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment or Associate's degree in a scientific field with 5 years of experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
    • Minimum 1-year experience as a Team Lead or Supervisor.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with ERP, SPC systems and/or familiarity with SPC tools.
