Position Summary |
The primary location of this position is the main Cullowhee, NC campus. The College of Engineering and Technology (CET) at Western Carolina University (WCU) is growing! The University has received substantial support from the North Carolina legislature to expand engineering to meet the rapidly growing needs of the region and state. Our engineering and engineering technology programs feature project-based learning embedded throughout the curricula, preparing our students for professional practice and advanced study. The College of Engineering and Technology (CET) is seeking a creative and experienced professional to lead our marketing and recruiting efforts to achieve our growth ambitions as a Marketing and Recruitment Coordinator. As the driving force behind our marketing strategy, you'll have the opportunity to develop and deploy innovative approaches to showcase our academic programs and the cutting-edge initiatives and capabilities of our faculty, staff, and students. From crafting compelling website content to engaging social media campaigns, you'll be at the forefront of promoting CET to a wide audience. Collaborating closely with our Communications and Marketing team, you'll ensure consistency and excellence in all our promotional materials. Marketing efforts in part, are focused on recruitment of students, faculty, staff, industry partners, donors, non-profit/foundations, and governmental support. Success will be demonstrated through data-informed results in growing in these and other areas.
