Functional Lead

Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Functional Lead with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Requirements:
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience leading a QA team also being hands-on with manual testing
- Experience with testing/defect lifecycle, testing phase/process (SIT, Regression, UAT, PPV, etc.) and documentation (Test Strategy/ Test Plan/ Test Reports, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience in functional integration testing (Manual Automation)
- Agile Testing Methodology (JIRA)
- Experience with BDD testing i.e., ability to write test cases using BDD format and execute them
- System Integration Testing experience (i.e., UI - API - Backend Validation experience) and in writing SQL queries (should be able to write joins, group by, etc.)
- API - Post Man/SOA Test validation experience
- Good team player/Communication skills
Desired skills:
- Automation testing experience
- Experience in Anti Money Laundering (AML)
