About the job
The Innovation and Automation Services team is looking for a Technical Architect with SAS 9 platform expertise. In this role, you'll be responsible for a variety of critical tasks. You will be designing, evaluating, and maintaining the SAS 9 platform SAS Managed best practices for our customers.
In this role, your responsibilities include ensuring reliability and recoverability by architecting SAS 9 applications to handle failures, moving beyond traditional redundant hardware to a more resilient cloud framework. You'll focus on cost optimization with an emphasis on balancing business goals with efficient Azure spending. Additionally, you will own creating the designs for operational excellence that maintain acceptable application performance through reliable deployments and effective monitoring. Finally, a crucial aspect of the role will be strengthening adherence to security standards by leveraging Azure's security services to safeguard data and systems.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams at SAS, providing expert guidance on SAS 9 capabilities in private cloud, and leading the integration of these solutions into managed application services within Cloud and Information Services (CIS).
