Job Description
DB Global Technology, Inc., seeks an Assistant Vice President in Cary, NC to provide fast-paced technical support for all computer systems and applications used by the Research Index. Requires a Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience supporting technology platform and system architecture; ensuring that run books, monitoring, technical and user testing, and release management information are in place; designing playbooks using Ansible technology and creating queries using SQL; configuring Geneos Monitoring tools and schedulers using CRON expressions; performing disaster recovery and user acceptance testing; performing incident and outage management to identify and remediate stability risks in crisis management; deploying applications using Jenkins pipelines; ensuring coverage of Incident, Problem, and Change Management incident tickets using Service Now, investigating incidents reported across a diverse range of applications; and in executing duties, utilizing Redhat Open shift, Helm, Prometheus, and Grafana.
