Job Description

SUMMARY

Maintenance of all raw material requirements to produce a functional final assembly schedule to support 100% customer fill rate with support for purchased requirements for Service. Provide support to maintain minimum inventory levels without disrupting production support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Download, review and maintain production requirements of raw materials to support production requirements of finished goods

-Review daily order entry activity and initiate appropriate action for materials support

-Communicate with in-house product planning personnel and operation planning to fulfill customer demands plus communicate any deviation from schedule to the operation

-Develop and implement daily scheduling

-Maintain and track factory performance to schedule volume, mix and pilots

-Maintain obsolete finished goods inventory to a minimum

-Responsible for all replacement parts processing

-Responsible for applying all requirements related to EMS, ISO9001/14001/50001/Green Spirit according to the position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

-BA or BS in a field relevant to manufacturing (operations planning) is required or equivalent on-the-job training.

-Three years of experience in manufacturing (operations planning) environment is preferred

-APICS certification is a plus

-Proficiency with general office technology and Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word)

-Knowledgein energy management systems ISO 50001 (Significant Energy Uses, Energy Policy, objectives and actions plans).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

-Must be knowledgeable in AS400 (Mapics) system and SAP

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone. The employee is generally sitting stationary within their workspace. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position works in a typical office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

INTERNAL/EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION

This position requires communication with internal and external customers planning and preparing on a regular basis. This position also requires effective communication with all levels of management.
