Job Summary (State overall purpose of the job in 2-3 sentences)

Verifies the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. Compares identifying information with bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records. Verifies that materials received are as ordered. May route incoming items within the company as directed. Maintains related records.

Essential Job Duties (Most important job duties explained clearly and concisely)

Conducts system data maintenance; maintains document files.

Maintains department vacation schedule. Reviews payroll data before weekly submission.

May perform other duties as required.

Somewhat independent; work frequently done independently by following practices and procedures while occasionally having work checked.

Language Ability: Ability to read and write. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems and draw basic conclusions.

Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, and Internet software.

Education and Experience (Minimum and preferred educational requirements, years of experience needed to successfully perform the job - High School or GED, High School plus specialized vocation or technical education, college degree)

High school diploma or GED equivalent; or 2 - 4 years related experience and/or vocational or technical training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
