Job Description

Gathers, tracks, and reports on alerts and information from log aggregation, cybersecurity tools, and endpoint protection. Runs and tracks vulnerability management systems to ensure complete scan coverage and remediation actions and tracks deficiencies where applicable.

Proactively searches for signs of intrusions, attempts of intrusion, and searches out weaknesses and recommends improvements in cyber security posture and gaps in coverage.

Acts as incident response leader to include providing immediate response to cybersecurity threats and intrusion, network management, vulnerability testing, intrusion detection and prevention, risk management, managing third party incident response support and supports security audits.

Ingests and reviews intelligence feeds and disseminates to relevant IT stakeholders. Recommends remediation as needed.

Certification desired - DoD 8570 IAT level III
