Overview

Global Financing and Credit Trading (GFCT) is a key business of the Deutsche Bank Investment Bank. We are a leading market maker of Credit products on major Dealer to Client platforms and Credit technology plays a vital part in this role. We (Credit Technology) are a global team with engineers in US, Germany and India. This technology lead will be based in Cary leading one of our Credit Flow Cash pre-trade engineering team.

What You'll Do

  • Leading a development team

  • Hands on development

  • Managing the rollout of deliverables to the Credit Flow Cash business

  • Contribute to analysis for new business requirements and strategic development of platform architecture and infrastructure

  • Ensuring the platform in charge of meets all the security and audit requirements

How You'll Lead

  • Leading a Cary based engineer team developing and delivering pre-trade trading technology solutions to our Credit Flow Cash business, tasks including but not limited to, hands on coding, lead scrum team and manage end to end delivery, hiring and train other team members, analyses software defects and fix them in timely manner

  • Working with business analysis tracking and reporting of project status to business stakeholders and technology management

Skills You'll Need

  • Java 8, Spring, Hibernate, REST APIs, Junit, Oracle/ Structured Query Language (SQL)/ PL SQL, Linux, Shell Script, Java Message Service (JMS), Message Queue (MQ)

  • Jira, Confluence, Git, Maven, Teamcity/Jenkins, Artifactory

  • Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment

  • Experience in leading a development team

  • Proficient communication skills (written/verbal)

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Strong analytical and design skills

  • Existing financial knowledge or appetite to learn

  • Ownership of standards and understanding of accountability

  • Good organisation skill

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $125,000 to $203,000.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
