Joining Collibra's Brand and Digital Marketing team

You will report to the Senior Director of Brand & Digital Marketing within Collibra's Marketing org, and you will lead an existing team of one direct report. In this role, you will manage the Collibra Community, acting as subject matter expert on the platform, core community programs, features and metrics. You'll develop and own the strategy for the community's growth and evolution. To be successful, you will embody the Collibra core values of 'Embrace and Drive Change' and being 'Open, Direct and Kind'.

This is a hybrid position based in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The Senior Manager, Community at Collibra is responsible for
  • Managing the Collibra community platform and strategy, including overseeing the day-to-day of the community, addressing community escalations, creating action plans and iterating on processes to scale engagement
  • Collaborating with Customer Success, Marketing, Support, Product and other stakeholders on strategy and vision for the community, advising on priorities, recommended engagement tactics and best practices to standardize the way Collibra employees interact with and support our community
  • Leading and optimizing measurement, monitoring and comprehensive reporting on community metrics and KPIs
  • Driving growth in community membership and activity by identifying trends, opportunities, and gaps, creating and executing on action plans to address opportunities
  • Managing and developing the Community team
You have
  • 5+ years of Community management experience, preferably in the enterprise B2B SaaS industry
  • 2+ years of experience developing and managing a high-performing cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience building and growing enterprise software customer communities and/or highly engaged technical communities
  • Strong understanding of community metrics and KPIs, and experience delivering insights and recommendations on how community can help achieve company goals
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience is required
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

  • Highly organized and efficient, action-oriented with an innate sense of urgency
  • A player-coach leader who works alongside your team to solve problems and manage projects
  • Very comfortable working with multiple projects/tasks and deadlines simultaneously, and are highly flexible when priorities shift
  • A polished and succinct communicator who is confident in collaborating with teams across many departments including Collibra senior leadership, engaging with customers and partners as well as vendors
  • Familiar with and knowledgeable about technical forums and discussion channels within the SaaS space
Measures of success
  • Within your first month, you will get fully onboarded and familiar with the Marketing team, the Sprinklr platform and our account support team, as well as the company's digital systems and tools. You will have started managing the community and reaching out to stakeholders across the business in order to update and further develop the community strategy. You will have the reporting for the community built out and ready to start monthly updates to stakeholders.
  • Within your third month, you will be fully leading your team and overall Community at Collibra, driving enablement across teams, and will bring new ideas for improvements. Your community strategy will have been finalized and you will be working on respective projects in your timeline, You will have drafted and begun executing ad-hoc action plans based on your cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.
  • By your sixth month, you will have implemented findings and recommendations, optimized the community's functionality, features and programs, and enabled all relevant teams across Collibra on best practices. You will be driving an effective membership growth campaign. And you'll be developing your team accordingly.
Compensation for this role

The standard base salary range for this position is $140,000-175,000 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.
