Envestnet is seeking a passionate and talented Senior Product Manager to join our Data and Analytics team. This position is expected to report to either our Berwyn, PA or Raleigh, NC office.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented individual to join the Research team at Envestnet Data & Analytics as a Senior Product Manager. The hire will have an integral role in shaping products that use big data and analytics to derive powerful insights in the investment and market research industries. Envestnet Data & Analytics is the largest SaaS platform for consumer financial data.

You will help drive innovations and build cutting-edge data products leveraging machine learning, AI and other Big Data technologies. You will explore problems and help define solutions leveraging our leading proprietary datasets to answer critical client questions.

You will also define product strategy, go-to-market, and be the liaison across multiple geographic teams. We are seeking a strong product manager with at least 3-5 years experience in the investment research or corporate strategy/research fields with some experience wrangling large and interesting datasets into intuitive products and tools.

You'll be responsible for leading end-to-end product management tasks from product strategy and roadmap through product launches. This is a strategic role with an opportunity to learn and expand responsibilities as you partner with data science, engineering, and business development teams in the US and offshore.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive the ideation, planning, and launch of the next generation of Data Products with an emphasis on research and market insights.
  • Take ownership of defining, managing, and prioritizing product roadmap while ensuring successful launches and ongoing support.
  • Maintain Confluence documentation and product requirements in sufficient detail to evaluate, build & launch products. Work with business analysts and partner closely with development teams (internal or external) to ensure clarity of requirements and effective delivery.
  • Speak frequently with customers to develop a deep understanding of their research requirements and use cases. Translate these needs into actionable product requirements.
  • Support business development and sales efforts by being a thought leader and resource on core Research products
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications:

  • Passion for building amazing data products with proven end-to-end experience, preferably using alternative data.
  • Exceptional presentation and communications skills with an ability to work directly with multiple teams across function and time zone
  • Minimum of 4+ years experience in product management, preferably in an investment research or corporate strategy setting.
  • Experience working with data products
  • Exposure to Big Data environments such as AWS (Spark, RedShift, EC2, Tableau), Databricks, or Snowflake is a plus.
  • Experience with SQL is a plus.
