Job Description


Responsibilities:
Assist with the setup and breakdown of catering events, including tables, chairs, linens, and decorations, ensuring all items are arranged according to the event specifications.
Help with food preparation tasks, such as plating dishes, assembling trays, and garnishing plates, under the guidance of experienced catering staff.
Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests during events, addressing any inquiries or requests promptly and courteously.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the catering kitchen and storage areas, following proper sanitation procedures and food safety guidelines.
Support catering staff in transporting equipment, supplies, and food items to and from event locations on campus, ensuring timely delivery and setup.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth execution of events, communicating effectively and efficiently to coordinate tasks and responsibilities.
Follow instructions and guidelines provided by catering supervisors and managers, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to various roles as needed.
Uphold company standards of professionalism and integrity, representing the catering brand positively in all interactions with clients, guests, and campus stakeholders.
Attend training sessions and meetings as required, actively participating in skill-building activities and professional development opportunities.
Perform other duties as assigned by catering management, contributing to the overall success of the catering operations.

Qualifications:
Current enrollment as a student at the college campus.
Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.
Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor, with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating with diverse individuals to achieve common goals.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices preferred, with a willingness to undergo training as needed.
Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion.
