Our Raleigh, NC office is looking for an Entry Level Design Technology Specialist. Typical projects involve public and private clients in completing projects in the Southeastern U.S. Duties will include but not belimited to developing and managing new design technology and associated data visualization to better achieve business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
    Developing and managing new design technology and associated data visualization to better achieve business goals and objectives for the MEPS Service Line.
  • Helping coordinate the software and the supporting hardware needs as they pertain to design technology.
  • Coordinating with BIM leaders and QC leaders from multiple offices to ensure standards are coordinated with best practices.
  • Advising internal software development to optimize production efforts and data analysis.
    • Custom Add-ons and Utilities
    • Data Extraction and Reporting
    • Facility Management Solutions
    • Technology Interoperability
  • Gathering information on Industry practices and trends.
  • Partnering with marketing team efforts promoting companies use of technology as a differentiator.
  • Providing guidance on contract language.
  • Keeping appraised of new industry technologies and trends, and presenting on such as appropriate.
  • Develop and oversee reality capture technology within the scope of MEPS to create highly accurate digital models.
  • Pursuit of registrations, accreditations, and continuing education related to Dewberry areas of practice and candidates' level of expertise will be encouraged, including continuing education and industry conferences. Educational and exam costs will be reimbursed in accordance with Dewberry Employee Handbook and Company Policies.
Required Skills & Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 0-4 years directly applicable experience required.
  • Must have ability to generate big picture ideas and solutions at the beginning stage of projects.
  • Must have ability to manage Design Technology and BIM elements of projects from beginning to end.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerBi Preferred.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Revit & AutoCAD Required.
  • Proficiency with .NET languages, C# preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including experience in dealing with contractors and clients.
  • Strong people skills.
  • Confident, proactive character, able to take the lead in challenging situations.
  • Providing technical leadership to teams of professional and non-professional staff.
  • Coordinating work schedules and preparing progress reports.
  • Recommending changes in cost estimates and scopes of work when necessary.
  • Working under your own direction and interfacing directly with the client.
  • Preference is for an individual who is fully conversant with the working practices employed by consulting engineers.
