Job Description

Intralox L.L.C., the world leader in conveyor equipment solutions utilizing modular plastic conveyor belts, has a position available for a Front Desk Administrative Assistant at our Sparrows Point, MD location. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as main point of contact for visitors/clients and greet in a pleasant and professional manner.
  • Service incoming telephone calls and sort incoming/outgoing mail.
  • Monitor coffee and open market supply and communicate with vendor as needed.
  • Monitor and order office supplies.
  • Administer supply/tools/general purchasing process for selected departments within facility.
  • Coordinate food orders for internal meetings.
  • Book and set up conference rooms for training events; including preparing handouts and other materials provided by the trainer.
  • Assist with user maintenance, uploading training records, and assist with reporting within the learning management system.
  • Help coordinate large internal and offsite meetings.
  • Support team with ad-hoc administrative requests.
  • Maintain a well-organized work environment.
  • Assist with timecard processing/reconciliation in absence of other Administrative Assistant.
  • Other miscellaneous front desk duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Team-player with a positive attitude.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail and solid people skills.
  • The ideal candidate should have a clear understanding of the importance of confidentiality. They should recognize the need to safeguard sensitive data and maintain its integrity.
  • Must be punctual and dependable.
  • Working knowledge of Windows-based software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous administrative experience in the manufacturing, field installation, automation, and/or construction field.
  • Competency in Oracle.
