JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Treasury professional who is looking for the opportunity to shape, develop and oversee the Corporate Treasury function and partner with business to support growth and International expansion. The responsibilities for this role includes building and supervising the Treasury team, elevating and maturing Treasury processes and systems and developing and managing of banking relationships. This role reports into the VP Global Controller. #LI-Remote

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have sat in the top treasury seat in a stand alone company, possess strong leadership skills and have well-rounded treasury experience in cash management, banking relationships, investment strategy, Fx optimization and treasury systems implementations. Proven track record in building Treasury teams and fostering cross-functional partnerships to effectively manage cash operations, develop cash flow forecasting, understand working capital and provide financial risk management support and strategy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Team & Functional Leadership

  • Manage a treasury team and establish departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures ensuring agility in organization to support business decisions and manage financial risk
  • Supervisory responsibilities including recruiting, developing and retaining key talent; assigning and directing work, and appraising performance throughout the year

Cash flow Forecasting & Modeling

  • Build and maintain cash flow / liquidity forecasting models in collaboration with FP&A and Revenue Operations and partner to proactively surface liquidity and funding concerns

Treasury Systems & Process Improvement

  • Evaluate and generate recommendations around current Treasury Management System and operating processes to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness
  • Review and drive improvements in cash management processes, ensuring financial obligations can be met in accordance with Company policies and procedures
  • Provide input and support for transfer pricing system

Cash Management

  • Oversee the Company's day-to-day Corporate Treasury activities
  • Build and manage bank relationships and identify opportunities for new partnerships
  • Lead day-to-day corporate cash management operations
  • Coordinate daily liquidity needs
  • Work with Finance and Accounting to identify and manage day-to-day cash needs for inter-company transactions, AP, payroll, tax, debt servicing, and other financial obligations, including the oversight of a multi-lateral netting solution.
  • Supports the banking and risk needs for the business in navigating new business ventures, new international markets, new legal entities, and cross-border financing
  • Evaluate new banking products and services; ensure accurate maintenance of banking and treasury systems including cost, utilization and administration while considering entry into new markets across the globe
  • Build and maintain relationships with commercial bankers to meet evolving needs across the business and assist with managing relationships with credit rating agencies
  • Work with third party investment manager to maximize investment income and prepare investment analyses

Credit Facility

  • Ensure covenant and reporting requirements are met on a timely basis for all debt instruments

Reporting

  • Preparation of long-term and short-term cash flow, balance sheet forecasts and analysis
  • Produces high quality dashboards in a clear format that highlights actionable data points

FX

  • Develop FX strategies to minimize FX transaction fees
  • Assess the company's cash flow at risk to build out hedging program including forecast accuracy assessment, cost of hedging, tenor, volatility as business pursues global expansion into new countries and new go-to-market models
  • Lead development and implementation of FX and Interest Rate hedging strategies and activities as appropriate

Controls & Compliance

  • Support external auditor activities as required
  • Ensure compliance with treasury SOX controls, respond to internal and external audit requests, and provide recommendations to control structure
  • Review Cash and investment account reconciliations
  • Lead documentation, monitoring and testing of internal controls for Treasury systems in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements and Internal Audit controls
  • Implement controls and procedures governing corporate funds flows, bank account / platform access, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory capital requirements, including legal entity capital requirements, and adherence to permissible investment requirements
  • Develop a system of controls and signals for early detection of various exposures and risks; develops and continuously revises workflows to ensure current and future business needs are met with no loss of assets
  • Assist in the development of financial policies and capital structures to include liquidity analysis, debt leverage, and share repurchase analysis and strategy
  • Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or related business field;
  • CTP required
  • 15+ years of experience in progressive Treasury, liquidity, and cash management leadership positions and at least 3 years in a Treasury leadership role
  • Relationships with global multinational banks including setting up new banking structures in Foreign countries
  • Strong capital / liquidity forecasting and risk management experience
  • Robust analytical, critical thinking and financial modeling skills
  • Strong knowledge of relevant Treasury management systems
  • Prior experience in building scalable processes and driving continuous improvement and automation within a growing Finance organization
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively document and articulate business issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
  • Capacity to assess process any internal control weaknesses and identify improvements
  • Be detail-oriented, flexible, and organized - flexibility to cross-regional time-zones and cross functional teams
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management including C level and audit committee
  • Self-motivated and able to take ownership and responsibility for the end to end audit process. Knows how to work independently, but when to consult with others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast paced environment
  • Understanding of cash forecasting and collections principals and the ability to design and manage a global cash forecasting program
  • Experience in implementing and ongoing testing SOX controls with familiarity of risk areas
  • Broad experience in capital markets, including debt issuance and redemptions, financing and banking regulation changes, and the ability to react and adapt in a manner that minimizes any disruption to business needs and processes
  • Solid understanding of business trends and their impact on treasury processes and practices; able to react quickly to changes to allow for least disruption to business and partners
  • Demonstrated and practical finance experience including developing robust financial and business-case modeling
  • Comprehensive understanding of transfer pricing rules
  • Ability to design, develop and establish written policies, procedures and standards and the controls necessary to ensure compliance
  • Our ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the principles of Treasury and cash management within a publicly traded company
