Position Summary
The role is responsible for processing, sorting, and traying outgoing high volume mail jobs.
2nd shift: 2:30PM-10:30PM
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Maintain product quality by inspecting product inline as delivered from equipment, packing/traying product and comply with Quality Control measures put in place per project.
  • Report quality, safety and production issues as needed.
  • Perform consistent quality checks on output.
  • Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process.
  • Support machine and job set up.
  • Apply accurate postage to Domestic and Foreign mail runs.
  • When processing mail, ensure that USPS regulations and guidelines/requirements are met.
  • Assist in managing postal equipment (trays/tags etc.)
  • Train new helpers
  • Accurately completes all Load Tags and prepares product for the next operation.
  • Completes all necessary paperwork to move the product through the mail stream efficiently.
  • Track job costs/production hours
  • Wrap pallets and use pallet jack.
  • Perform basic maintenance to department mailing equipment.
  • Contribute to safety goals by maintaining a clean, clutter-free workplace, report potentially unsafe conditions and ensure that the department meets and exceeds safety requirements.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards by completing work in timely and accurate manner.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Of Position
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), four plus years of relevant industry experience or 520 hours as an Imagine temporary employee along with manager's approval to hire full-time.
Preferred Qualifications Of Position
  • One plus years of experience working in printing, manufacturing, distribution and/or fulfillment.
  • One plus years of experience using postage and small mailing equipment.
Knowledge And Skills
  • Basic computer skills including email, basic mouse, keyboard and menu navigation.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and measurement.
  • Ability to communicate/understand basic written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to use pallet jack.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
  • Frequent standing for prolonged periods of time up to 8 + hours a day
  • Frequent walking
  • Ability to lift, pull, push up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to visually inspect all work for defects.
  • Manual dexterity for highly repetitive work up to 8 + hours a day

The national pay range for this role is $13.50- $17.00 hour. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission, or incentive program.
