Data Analytics & Business Insights

Project Description/Scope:

Help us uncover insights from data collected in our CRM tool! We implemented a CRM system a couples years ago. It was a big lift to get customer information in there and have our employees use it consistently. We are now at a stage to start analyzing the information.

We are looking for a rockstar to work directly with the Chief Growth Officer & Controller to help us unlock key insights from this information.

Our company is in growth mode and we would love to partner with a student who is looking to test their skillsets and gain valuable business experience.

Outcomes for business:
- uncover valuable insights from large batches of untapped data (some of the key data elements we have -- water chemistry readings, swimmer counts, inventory...)
- operational improvements - create dashboard and automated reports - ideally we would like to establish automated reporting tools
- finance / budgeting - we have opportunity to consolidate data sets and improve visibility on company spend categories

Outcomes for student:
- gain exposure to a business in growth mode, working hand in hand with senior leadership
- work at a company with a great culture
- expand network within businesses across Charlotte & other NC cities (Greensboro, Raleigh, and Wilmington)
Business leaders know what we are looking for but need a data guru to help us pull it together!

Desired Skills:

Technical

How many hours is estimated for this job:

During the summer, we're flexible 10-25 hours/week. If the project goes well and the student is interested, we may continue this relationship in the Fall 2024 semester.
