Overview

Deutsche Bank is looking for a SOAR Use-Case Coordinator, whom will be involved in exciting projects in our company and our worldwide business network. You would be responsible forautomation and integration work for our Chief Security Office (CSO). You will assist in developing and delivering digital workers to automate processing of security incidents at the Bank, reducing time to respond and recover from cyber incidents for the operations teams workforce.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for analyzing, building, testing, deploying, maintaining and documenting new SOAR (security orchestration and automation response) playbooks to extend the existing automation capabilities of the Cyber Security Teams

  • Develop creative new approaches to accelerate threat detection, responses and remediation of security incidents in a global organization and develop integrations with 3rd party services and application programming interface (APIs)

  • Coordinate playbook deployments with multi-functional team members to maintain high quality work products

  • Collaborate with and provide feedback to the engineers and product managers of SOAR as you operationalize the innovative security automation tool into security operations

  • Assist with the design, engineering, deployment, and maintenance of playbooks and custom automation products as threats change and new security tools and controls emerge

  • Partner with other development and business teams to manage dependencies and communicate technical specifications

Skills You'll Need

  • Development of Build/Run processes to ensure systems are properly maintained and operating effectively

  • Experience authoring security runbooks, policy, and best practice documentation

  • Your credentials will also include a sound knowledge of DevOps, JSON, XML, Rest APIs, GIT, JIRA, Bitbucket and Confluence

  • Moderate years of security engineering experience with SOAR, Security Operations, Incident Response

  • Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux Operating Systems, Understanding of security frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, etc.)

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Proficient in Python scripting language

  • Ability to collaborate with numerous teams and internal customers

  • Experience with various SIEM technologies

  • Understanding of endpoint protection applications

  • Agile development experience

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
