Purpose

This position, with the support and leadership of the Sr. Revenue Manager, will lead initiatives to improve and enhance the Company's gross to net revenue recognition processes including related data compilation, reporting, risk mitigation and internal controls. The Analyst will support the revenue accounting function, specifically the analysis of gross-to-net allowances, related month-end close and reporting, trend analyses and forecasting. The job has cross-functional interaction as a business partner, requiring timely coordination and evaluation of all gross-to-net component inputs and trends with various departments

Main Responsibilities

Gross to Net Revenue Analysis:
- Prepare and distribute weekly net sales reports
- Calculate and communicate monthly net sales projections
- Calculate and document assigned revenue analytics, KPIs, and trend data
- Independently prepare and document quarterly analyses of rates and accruals as assigned by senior team members
Gross to Net Revenue Forecasting:
- Assist with forecast and budget gross to net estimation processes
- Calculate and document assigned gross to net sales allowances, with understanding of assumptions behind each assumption by product.
- Use routine analyses to highlight potential changes in forecast assumptions based on new or anticipated changes in the business.
Month End/Year End Close:
- Assist with the monthly net revenue closing processes for product portfolio as assigned by senior team members, including timely documentation of assigned reconciliations and rollforwards
- Compile and record any required journal entries
- Alert senior team members to any unusual account activity
- Assist with year-end audit inquiries related to revenue accounting
Gross to Net Governance:
- Lead assigned areas of quarterly Gross to Net Committee meetings
- Assist with review and updating of revenue accounting policies and procedures in accordance with IFRS
- Assist team with evaluation, implementation and administration of systems related to revenue postings and reporting
- Attend industry knowledge conferences to understand common industry practices and applicable regulation
- Assist with gross to net education of other employees as requested
Ad-hoc Analysis:
- Provide support as business partner to commercial, marketing and contracting departments to assist with or support evaluation of operational decisions on GTN discounts or sales mix

Experience Required

* 4+ years accounting/finance experience; pharma experience preferred
* CPA preferred
* Previous exposure to revenue recognition in the pharmaceutical industry preferred
* Excellent analytical skills and interest in identifying the root of complex issues and resolution of problems
* Demonstrated proficiency in written, verbal and face-to-face communication
* Ability to multitask, respond successfully under pressure, effectively prioritize, and manage time and workload to meet business needs
* Detail oriented with ability to work through ambiguous data with cross-functional team members
* Ability to act and operate independently to accomplish objectives.
* Advanced skill in MS Office Excel & PowerPoint
* Experience with SAP preferred
* Aptitude to learn computer programs as needed
* Demonstrated proficiency in Written, Verbal and Face-to-face communication to effectively present information to and influence decision making of working and business partners (local and global), internal customers, and other stakeholders.
* Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and multifunctional resources concurrently while maintaining high attention to detail while responding to rapidly changing priorities and aggressive deadlines.

Education

* Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or finance
