MRR Mechanical Engineer Technician (Navy Conversion)

Location: Elizabeth City, NC

Clearance: Active Secret

Provide the USCG Air Logistics Center Medium Range Recovery (MRR) Division technical, business, and administrative support for planning, organizing and maintaining project schedules using project management software.

* Act as the technical expert in developmental and structural processes.

* May train and be assisted by lower level technicians, and performs one (1) or more of the following:

o Technical, business, and administrative support.

o Planning.

o Organizing.

* Maintain project schedules using project management software.

* Evaluation the project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to identify sources, parts, and equipment necessary to develop and execute work on a WBS.

* Report on project status utilizing cost, schedule, and resource measurements, reports, and analyses as required.

* Provide support to aid in technical writing publication efforts to support USCG aviation.

Required:

* Minimum three (3) years' experience in aviation related engineering functions.

* Possess a SECRET security clearance.

Preferred:

* Minimum of two (2) years' experience directly related to maintenance/support of the Sikorsky H-60 family of aircraft is preferred.

* Minimum of one (1) years' experience in the current production configuration of USCG's MH-60T aircraft is preferred.
