Your Responsibilities as a Sr Project Manager:

* Manage a diverse portfolio of environmental projects.

* Write and review technical reports and proposals.

* Actively source for new business opportunities.

* Prepare and deliver marketing presentations.

* Hire and manage subcontractors.

* Mentor and train scientific staff in developing quality work product.

* Champion safety and the safe performance of project work.

What we're looking for:

* BA/BS (MS Preferred) in Environmental Science/Engineering or related field.

* 15-20 years of solid technical, project, and client management experience.

* Professional license, PE or PG preferred.

* Ability to mentor and train staff.

* Excellent technical communication skills and strong attention to detail.

* Strong professional network in the Carolinas and Southeast.

* Ability to travel to other Apex offices and client sites and participate in strategy development.

* Excellent safety record and understanding of safe work practices.

* Proficiency with MS Office suite.
