Job/Internship Description

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Sciences & Technology (MS&T) Technology Transfer (TT) Intern will apply sound scientific and engineering principles to support the transfer and enrollment of new biopharmaceutical processes and/or to support the ongoing production activities in the cGMP manufacturing facility.

The scope of this role includes:

  • Supporting technology transfer for manufacturing projects through
    • Generating and revising technical documents
    • Supporting technology transfer activities
      • Facility Fit
      • Process Flow Diagrams
      • Material projections and assessments
    • Quality Systems
      • CAPA generation and closure
      • Change Control generation and closure
    • Manufacturing support
      • Campaign summary reports
      • Process updates

The candidate should be able to apply engineering principles in-order to problem-solve and drive projects to successful completion within defined timelines. The ability to manage multiple projects and resources is required.

Position Responsibilities

  • Generate and revise technical documents
  • Support technical transfer activities
  • Use and learn about quality systems
  • Participate in general manufacturing support
  • Receive training on KBI Standard Operating Procedures

Position Requirements

  • High school diploma; Actively enrolled in a 4 year STEM or related program
  • Understand information, factes, and measurements as required by cGMP, GLP, GCP standards
  • Able to stand on feet, bend, and move through shift; able to lift equipment and samples

Salary: $15-20 per hour
