Valiant is seeking an Expert Strategy Advisor to support our customer's operational requirements in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Successful Expert Strategy Advisor candidates will work in an integrated government-contractor team fusing intelligence information from multiple intelligence disciplines. Responsibilities include expert level all-source intelligence research, analysis, report writing, operational concept development, stakeholder engagement, and presenting reports to various levels of customer management. Candidates must have the ability to think critically and communicate highly complex information in an accurate and clear fashion while also working collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in an integrated government-contractor team fusing intelligence information from multiple intelligence disciplines.
  • Provide executive-level support to include providing input to graphic and visual products for presentations to senior executives.
  • Responsibilities include all-source intelligence research, analysis, report writing, operational concept development, stakeholder engagement, and presenting reports to all levels of customer management.
  • Ideal candidates are inquisitive, investigative, and action-oriented with the ability to take initiative and deliver solutions to complex operational problems.
  • Apply advanced knowledge and expertise of operations, operational tradecraft, and intelligence priorities when providing strategic guidance and operational case management.
  • Provide support in planning and implementing traditional foreign intelligence collection, non-traditional operations, and technical operations using technology.
  • Combine specialized technical training, advanced analytic expertise, in-depth expertise with client operational tradecraft and targeting tools, and open-source research expertise to identify new opportunities for operational activity.

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 12 years of relevant professional experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC)
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and research results
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Experience with cable writing and classified databases including specific targeting tools
  • Prior experience in supporting HUMINT operations -
  • Certification in Sponsor basic tradecraft courses
  • Prior TDY experience, both CONUS and OCONUS
  • Prior special operations experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong briefing and writing skills
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
