- Lead the development of water and wastewater projects as a client-facing project manager, leveraging the experience in water distribution system, wastewater collection system, water/wastewater treatment, pump and lift station including investigation, studies, modeling, design, and construction administration services.
- Communicate with clients, establishing goals and objectives for project team members, and scheduling and coordinating resources to deliver projects
- Supervise and support the work of junior level engineers while mentoring them
- Lead or support teams in marketing and proposal phases of projects, including preparation of winning proposals and successful presentations, as well as developing scope and fee
- BS Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field with MS degree a plus
- 11+ years of water and wastewater experience
- Professional Engineer in North Carolina required
- Extensive project and people management experience including at least 5 years of experience managing multi-disciplined water and wastewater projects.
- Experience in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
- Knowledge and experience with the local municipalities, including City of Raleigh, City of Durham, PWC, OWASA, High Point, and others
- Knowledge of NCDOT methods and procedures a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and coordination skills with other disciplines
- Successful record of managing client, assisting in client development, and leading project pursuits
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Compensation Range:
