This is a part-time position that will require approximately 4-5 hours per day.


POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Project Control Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Project Controller with a high volume of Project Setups in accordance with company and contract requirements using a variety of software and other electronic tools. This position reports to the Project Control Specialist. Candidates local to the DMV area are preferred.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Data entry and maintenance of project information for newly awarded or modified contracts in Unanet (i.e., contract setup, funding values, period of performance, project labor categories, workforce, backlog, etc.) according to contract invoicing and reporting requirements
  • Update project workforce and workflow documents in AODocs
  • Prepare and post timesheet adjustments
  • Reconcile Labor Suspense account
  • Assist with Unanet support requests for Project related modifications or additions
  • Update and maintain person profiles in Unanet
  • Maintain and deliver periodic and month-end reports
  • Assist with reconciling Contract Close-outs
  • Train and/or mentor other team members as needed
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Associate degree in accounting (or equivalent) preferred; willing to hire with 5+ years of Federal contracting project control experience in lieu of a degree
  • 3+ years of Federal contracting experience
  • Intermediate/Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Access
  • Ability to adapt to changes in responsibilities as the needs of the company change and grow
  • Ability to rapidly organize and analyze complex and diverse situations as well as large amounts of data
  • Customer-focused with a sense of urgency to deliver quality work
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence and negotiate skillfully.
  • Ability to partner with both internal and external clients
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills within all levels of an organization

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing duties of this job, an employee may be required to perform any, or all of the following: Attend meetings in and out of the office, travel (sometimes extensively); Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand; Communicate effectively (both orally and in writing); Ability to effectively use computers and other electronic and standard office equipment; Occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Work is primarily sedentary and involves sitting for several hours at a time. Occasionally walking, climbing stairs, and standing occur in this role. Additionally, this job requires certain mental demands, including the ability to use judgment, withstand moderate amounts of stress, and maintain attention to detail.
