Performs operations to attach buttons to sewn inbacks and inarms to prepare for the upholstery of fabric and leather covers.
- Glue the back of fabric with a hot melt glue gun.
- Minimum of one year experience required.
- Stick button through fabric/leather and foam.
- Place a plastic washer and metal clip over the end of the button.
- Use wire cutters to clip the back of the button tip and cover button end with glue.
- Use regulator to make sure pleats are filled out to the center of the buttons.
- Place the completed job on to a buggy and push the buggy to the next operation.
- May perform other duties/ special or non-routine assignments as instructed.
