We have a job opening and exciting opportunity for a full-time Regional Business Development-Medical Equipment Sales in any Concordance location. The primary role of the Regional Business Development-Medical Equipment Sales is to play a key role in leading company efforts to expand sales and services related to medical equipment, furniture, and aligning with the organization's overarching goals.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with Regional Directors, Account Managers, and other departments to educate on exploring new and existing accounts, uncovering key equipment contacts, and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Implement strategies to attract strategic customers and prime vendor accounts, working closely with Regional Directors and Directors of Business Development.
  • Conduct regular meetings with Regional Directors and Directors of Business Development to review strategies, assess account manager skills, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Review lead-generating activities, consult on results, and provide feedback to the management team. Quantify leads, identify the scope of work, and evaluate the probability of opportunities.
  • Bring attention to marketplace needs, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and educate teams and customers on the full Equipment and Furniture portfolio.
  • Demonstrate a firm understanding of regulations related to patient care, including ADA and OSHA, ensuring adherence to new protocols for patient and employee safety.
  • Collaborate with construction companies and project planners, possess proficiency in CAD/architectural drawings, and work with site managers for needs assessment, budgeting, evaluations, logistics, installation, and white-glove services.
  • Identify, target, and establish new relationships with construction companies and architectural firms to gain "upstream" awareness to solidify large opportunities that may not go thru normal medical distribution channel.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of medical furniture, diagnostic equipment, and office/business furnishings. Identify and collaborate with equipment manufacturers to strengthen relationships and expand the Concordance equipment portfolio.
  • Attend conferences, trade shows, and forums at the national and state levels. Network to expand business opportunities in both medical and commercial markets.
  • Stay updated on regulations/compliance, best equipment practices, and departmental workflows. Contribute to the growth of Concordance in all markets served.
  • Collaborate with the Equipment Team on large projects, lab initiatives, and RFPs, providing a unique perspective.
  • Clearly communicate and offer options to improve Concordance warehouse and logistical management. Understand and work with GPO equipment/furniture contracts, ensuring alignment with customer needs..
  • Continuously update and communicate with Senior Director of Equipment Sales & Service the efforts, successes, shortcomings and improvement needed to succeed in increasing sales and profitability of equipment sales for Concordance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need To Be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years experience selling medical equipment, medical furniture & office furniture.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Knowledge of GPO Contracts and tier-level pricing.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiating, prospecting, and closing skills.
  • Professional representation of the company.
  • Thorough understanding of medical equipment products and services.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Understanding of ROI and leasing/financing options.
  • Proficiency in architectural and CAD drawings.
  • With the possibility of a work from home hybrid model (in office part of the week and remote part of the week).
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) DOT drug screening, physical and background check.
