WHAT YOU WILL EXPERENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Required Skills:

* Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts and techniques

* Builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers

* Solves a range of straightforward problems; analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures

* Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction

* Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills

Ability to successfully:

* Provide assistance to the Manufacturing Plant to achieve maximum performance.

* Assist with Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement throughout the organization using Lean and Six Sigma principles.

* Partners with plant personnel on improvement opportunities.

* Participate in Kaizen lean practices and principles.

* Assist with troubleshoot manufacturing, quality and assembly issues using data analysis.

* Define, refine and improve existing processes including: Manufacturing processes/procedures, new process development, creation of process documentation, product design for manufacturability and assembly. capacity, efficiency and floor design, production processing and problem solving.

* Assist in design, install, and debug tooling and capital equipment.

* Ability to review data and visualize KPI's for Manufacturing organization

* Ability to apply Lean Principles

* Partner with IT, OE and Manufacturing

* Handle other duties as assigned.

YOU HAVE:

* Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineer or Industrial Engineer.

* Must have completed at least first year of education.

* Engineer should be more focused in the areas of Operational Excellence, DMAIC, and Lean tools.
