Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP seeks a highly qualified attorney to join its Mass Torts Practice Group in Winston-Salem, NC. This position will involve working in an active and dynamic practice that touches all aspects of litigation including discovery, depositions, motions practice, and trial. The successful candidate will be given autonomy to handle assigned cases while at the same time having access to the knowledge and experience of seasoned litigators.
Candidates must have excellent law school and undergraduate academic credentials. The ideal candidate will have exceptional oral and written communication skills, 3 to 5 years of previous law firm experience involving tort, personal injury, and/or complex litigation matters, pre-trial discovery experience, strong background in scientific and technical issues, and regulatory submissions and compliance experience. Ideal candidates are seeking the role of trusted advisor to corporate clients with wide ranging legal and regulatory needs. The litigators in the Mass Torts Practice Group frequently collaborate to analyze and strategize how to handle each case. It is essential that the successful candidate have the skill, knowledge, and ability to conduct research and apply laws, court decisions, and rules of evidence and procedure in order to defend clients and reach a successful resolution of each matter. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively and cooperatively with paralegals, legal practice assistants and staff.

Candidates must be licensed in North Carolina, must be willing to take the next available North Carolina bar exam or be eligible to seek admission without examination. Candidate must be willing to travel for court appearances and other proceedings as necessary.
