About the Department | The Department of Plant and Microbial Biology supports teaching, research, and extension programs in fundamental plant biology and microbiology, including basic and applied research, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, mentoring graduate and undergraduate students, and outreach to state and national clientele. |
Essential Job Duties | We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our solutions-oriented team as an Undergraduate Program Assistant. In this role, you will be contributing to various aspects of our plant biology program in an engaging and supportive environment working closely with faculty, staff, and students to ensure the smooth operation of academic activities and program support services. Student success is at our core, and you will be assisting with coordinating activities including graduation ceremonies, open houses, the PB student organization, and recruitment functions, collecting and recording student and course information, and assisting the instructor with a lab section of our Plant Life course. Key responsibilities are as follows:
