Analyzes business processes and data to identify opportunities to automate and/or improve existing processes using information technology.
Troubleshoots and manages issues including providing in-house solutions and outside vendor contract.
Assists the information systems department in assessing hardware and software needs by working with users and managers.
Performs market and industry research to support conclusions and recommendations. Develops and provides recommendations regarding business process/performance improvements.
Works with other information systems analyst regarding system and patient care issues.
Performs security account changes for user community as needed.
Performs Cerner tasks as directed for daily operational support.
Minimum Education: Associate's degree in related area or equivalent technical experience required.
Minimum Work Experience: At least 2 years computer experience at the level of Specialist or related field required.
