Job Summary |
The Polysomnography Technologist II performs sleep studies, PAP-Level titration, split studies, and other polysomnography related procedures in an effective and efficient manner as ordered by the provider. Minimum Qualifications | Education | Completion of an accredited polysomnography program. High school diploma required. | Licensure/ Certification | Must be a Registered Polysomnographer and/or respiratory care practitioner. | Experience | One year or more experience in polysomnography preferred. | Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | * Ability to stage and score sleep studies and discuss findings with overreading provider. * Knowledge of the care and use of tools, equipment and machinery that apply to the position. * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. * Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English. * Proficient with MS Office and EPIC, and able to learn new software rapidly. * Ability to stand and work on hard floors for duration of shift. | |
