Job Description

For more than 20 years, LCG, Inc. has been a leading provider of technology-based consulting services, biomedical research support, grants management, decision analytics, software engineering and IT operations that enhance the transparency, efficiency, and empowerment of programs with health and science missions. The candidate will be responsible for managing a team of IT Infrastructure Engineers, IT Security Engineers, and IT Service Desk Engineers. Additionally, the candidate will provide both project and portfolio management for the agency working closely with the Office of the CIO.

We are currently seeking a ITProject Manager.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the assigned project(s) and scope(s). Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
  • Manage the client stakeholders, team members, or contract personnel to design a solution and establish associated project timelines and budgets that allow for the delivery of the most strategic function within the project constraints.
  • Meeting with stakeholders and maintain transparency regarding project issues and decisions on services.
  • Experience in providing IT Infrastructure and security-related tasks for Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) or Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO).
  • Use the ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) best-practice framework to enhance processes and procedures for delivering high-quality services that are aligned with business needs and objectives.
  • Experience overseeing IT Modernization Initiatives in cloud, including the development of strategic plans and roadmaps.
  • Ensures compliance with all IT Systems under NIST/HHS Information Security standards and best practices.
  • Coordinate requirements development and analysis across multiple departments and groups for multiple projects.
  • Hire, lead, motivate, develop, coach/mentor, and manage staff on all assigned projects.
  • Manage customer expectations and deliverables.
  • Desirable to have experience in desktop support and service desk operations.
  • Support business development efforts for opportunities through all phases of the BD lifecycle.
  • Provide proposal writing support.
  • Support revenue growth on existing projects, identifying opportunities for scope expansion

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Federal customer experience supporting HHS, preferably NIH.
  • IT Project and Portfolio Management Experience
  • Experience Implementing and overseeing end-to-end IT Service Management
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Budget management experience.

Preferred:

  • ITIL Certification.
  • Agile experience.
  • Federal Contracting experience.
  • ServiceNow experience.
