Duty Station: Washington DC/Remote

IntraHealth is looking for an experienced consultant to provide technical and management support for the USAID funded ASAP II contract. The consultant will be responsible for the following tasks:

  1. Support the planning, implementation and reporting of the USAID West and Central Africa Local Partner Meeting (WCA LP Meeting)
    1. Attend weekly meetings with USAID for planning purposes
    2. Coordinate with Small Business Service Provider on logistics, virtual streaming, translations, and reporting
    3. Coordinate with the meeting Hotel on accommodation, meals, conference rooms, audio equipment
  2. Oversight of service provider developing training manual with learning objectives for AORs and CORs to manage local partners.
  3. Review technical components of training manuals with templates for the ASAP II series on "Path to Prime":
    1. Financial Management
    2. Business Development
    3. Strategic Information
    4. Human Resources

DELIVEARBLES

  1. Updated weekly tracker for WCA LP meeting which is shared with USAID
  2. Draft training manuals reviewed for technical components
  3. Final templates for LP organizational procedures.

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The consultant contract's duration will be five (5) to six (6) months from the award date.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The desired candidate will have:

Advanced degree in public health, management and related field with five years of senior leadership experience working on USAID funded activities.

Demonstrated experience in working with Local Partner in Africa,

Experience with PEPFAR programming and policies

Experience in designing and facilitating training for USAID funded activities including developing learning objectives, participant materials, job aids, and facilitator guides; is highly innovative, creative, self-motivated; possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; has the ability to meet deadlines; provides excellent customer service; works independently and collaboratively.
