Job Description Summary

JOB SUMMARY:
The Repair Parts Coordinator works with our LZB Customer Service team to ship American Drew, Hammary and Kincaid repair parts to our dealers and customers. This position will perform all applicable logistics procedures necessary to complete each order from picking parts, packing, and shipping.

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):

  • Coordinating repair parts shipping to our customers to ensure delivery in a timely manner.
  • Answering general emails and phone calls from our LZB Customer Service team and LZB Sales representatives.
  • Working with our LZB Logistics Department on incoming repair parts to fulfill outstanding needs.
  • Setting up repair parts on our new products at our April and October Furniture Markets.
  • Picking parts out of inventory that match a customer's order.
  • Wrapping, packaging, and shipping the parts.
  • Setting up common parts when two or more groups contain the same part.
SCOPE & IMPACT:*No budget or metric responsibilities at the current time.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • 2-4years of total work experience required to effectively perform the key responsibilities of the job.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:*Forklift license.
  • A general understanding of all aspects of the furniture industries, particularly knowledge of the manufacturing process.
  • This position requires someone to respond promptly and answer/resolve customer inquiries.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:*Specific physical and/or environmental demands are an essential part of the job.
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
*May be required to lift over 50 lbs.
