Job Description

LCG is currently seeking a Senior Level ServiceNow Developer to implement various modules (Demand, ITOM, ITAM) within ServiceNow. The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for developing solutions using best practices for implementing various ServiceNow modules for a prominent Health of Human Services (HHS) customer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interface and coordinate with IT Program Manager, IT Infrastructure team, and other stakeholders to gather and refine requirements on CMDB, Discovery, and ServiceMapping.
  • Extensive work with the ServicePortal, and ITOM.
  • Leverage experience and subject matter expertise to Implement Core suite of ITOM applications - Discovery and Service Mapping
  • Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise applications, Monitoring, and SIEM systems, and other ServiceNow instances
  • Customize Service Portal for the enhanced end-user experience.
  • As a Senior developer mentor, other developers and peer review the code to ensure team development follows ServiceNow best practices

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or 9+ relevant years of experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in implementing solutions on ServiceNow platform including but not limited to Server and client-side scripting,
  • In-depth experience with ITOMmoduleand Service Portal are required.
  • Glide API, Web Services, Angular JS, ServiceNow Studio, Bootstrap CSS, Jelly Scripts, etc.
  • Extensive Process knowledge and working experience as a lead implementer for ITOM solutions
  • Experience integrating with enterprise application and third-party application through OOTB and custom API
  • Experience in creating audience-specific technical documents, user guides and/or presentations. Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Work on Continuous Service Improvement by periodical technical and functional assessment of solutions and implementing enhancements as needed. Provide technical documentation on all solutions implemented
