Your Title: Project Manager, Customer Onboarding

Job Location: Remote - USA

Our Department: Onboarding, Mobility Division, Transportation Sector

What You Will Do

This position is responsible to ensure that our large customer implementations are properly organized, successful, and properly rolled out.The job will assist customers in creating a project plan, assist in organizing all individuals involved, create / facilitate a task / action list to hold all parties accountable, and measure success. Ultimately the role is responsible for managing the relationship with the customer to ensure the customer is 100% satisfied with the decision to purchase Trimble Transportation and willing to provide testimonials as such.Included is the successful execution of the Trimble Transportation Project Management Methodology system to ensure long term customer satisfaction.Responsibilities include the following:

  • Create Trimble Transportation Project Management Methodology Plan for each customer implementation

  • Create weekly status reports

  • Conduct conference calls to set agendas and expectations and summarize progress and tasks required

  • Ensure all parties have completed their tasks as described in the Project

  • Integration - communicate and resolved all integration issues

  • Customer - dedicate required resources to test properly and test applications

  • Customer Manager - ensure internal support is aligned

  • Professional Services - during engagements

What Skills And Experience You Should Bring

  • Bachelor's degree (or) equivalent work experience in a related field

  • 3 years Project Management experience

  • Knowledgeable on all Trimble Transportation tools/applications - ability to effectively train customer

  • Comfortable communicating and working with drivers, mechanics, dispatchers, management

  • Comfortable inspecting and hardware in vehicles

  • Comfortable presenting to executive level leadership

  • Able to conduct training on web based interface and all Trimble Transportation VAS

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Excellent presentation skills and experience

  • Highly organized and able to demonstrate problem solving skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Travel approx. 25%

  • Strong project management ability

  • Positive motivation and excellent people skills

  • Able to facilitate meetings with a high level of organization

  • Able to manage total accountability for a customer specific project

  • Willingness to work at a customer site for lengthy periods of time
